Solar Plant With 90,000 Panels Installed in 40 Days Near Tehran
A solar power plant with over 90,000 panels was installed in less than 40 days on a 95-hectare site near the Shamsabad Industrial Park on the Tehran-Qom highway. [PHOTOS]
The project was developed with foreign investment. The plant is now operational and feeding electricity into the national grid. It can generate about 50 megawatts, enough to power thousands of homes. Officials say the speed of installation was a record for such a large facility in Iran.
